The members of The Digital Theatre from the University of Aarhus have worked in the following fields of digital theatre research: the dramaturgy of digital media, virtual puppet theatre, motion capture/animation, and reactive spaces. Material includes a short film titled "Appunti su Zio Vania" (Notes on Uncle Vanja), produced with digital technologies, under the guidance of Marco Bellocchio. This year students who attend n[ever]land will be given credits (Credito Formativo Universitario), as the meetings are valued a Formative Activities for the Drama Course.

Master Riccardo Bianchini will present his project for the year 2003 for the Electronic Music Course "Mondi sonori virtuali in Conservatorio" (Virtual sound worlds in Conservatoire), and he will open the meetings with a concert of the Cecilia Elettrica Ensamble. Since 1987 the Scuola di Musica Elettronica del Conservatorio (School of Electronic Music of the Conservatoire) has dealt with these issues, researching and developing didactics, producing software, compositions, concerts, didactic material.

THE ACADEMY OFFERS A THREE YEAR BACHELOR OF ART (BA) DEGREE
in visual and physical theatre. The academy has two departments; one for scenography
and one for acting. There are three main areas of study: project-based study,
theory-based subjects, and department specific skills and crafts. The three
areas are subdivided into educational units or modules.
Evaluation takes place throughout the three years in the form of individual
dialogue, project assessment and marking of written papers. Each module is marked
"Passed" or "Not Passed" by the Dean, the Head of Department,
a teacher or an external censor. (See description for each module.)Passing all
modules throughout the three years gives 180 ECTS.
